Founder and Sitting Chairman (LSF)

Sinha M. A. Sayeed PhD, LLB (Double), LLM, BSS (Honors), MSS in political science with a degree of BA (subsidiary) in Sociology and Public Administration (Bangladesh) is the founder and sitting Chairman of Leadership Studies Foundation(LSF). Honored with a rare title of ‘Global Voice’ from Bangladesh Philosophical Association for his epoch-making book ‘O United Nations’ written in a prose-poetry form and possessed of an enlightened profile in politics, business, journalism, research and writings and in many other fields, he is a cosmopolitan in thoughts and spirits in the fullest sense of the term. A five-time awarded national debater and speaker from 1978 to 1982 with a blazer, highest honor in this field, from Dhaka University; he retains his unbeaten standing of such honor till the date. With twelve years of colorful experiences as international, publicity and publications secretary of Jatio party----that was in power from 1986 to 1990, and now third largest political party with 29 seats in the 9th Parliament of Bangladesh----he resigned from the party and politics in December 1998 and since then has been maintaining a non-party entity

More than a hundred articles, in both English and Bengali languages, related to law, national and international issues were published.

Publications of Books:

‘Somoyer Kabita’ [Poems of the call of time] published by Bangladesh Writer’s Association is a prose-poetry focus in Bengali language on contemporary politics and political parties in Bangladesh with an urge for immediate reforms in these sectors. It has widely been accepted, reviewed and applauded.

Realistically enough, in 2009 Bangladesh Election Commission has put most of these reforms compulsorily into practice for all political parties

‘For a President Who Can Take an Initiative published by BangladeshPolitical Science Association is a politico-constitutional analysis with reference to the 12th Amendment to the Constitution of Bangladesh

‘O United Nations’ published by Bangladesh Political Science Association is his forth publication in the form of book. It is a presentation of international standard and appeal, which focuses on the past, present and future of the United Nations in a prose-poetry form, the first of its kind in the history of UN since its birth on 24 October 1945. The book has nationally and internationally been recognized and reviewed by many a body, organization and association covering also World Federation of United Nations Association, Yale Model Untied Nations XXXV, International Political Science Association, International Association of Historian of Asia. Interestingly enough, for this book Dr. Sinha has meanwhile been decorated with six awards and recognitions.

More important is that the extended form of the book is now on the website titled www.sinha-ounitednations.com and it is going to be published internationally in 2011.

Dorrance Publishing House, the oldest US-based publishing house at Pennsylvania, is one of the few international publishers that has reviewed the book and expressed its willingness to suit the very purpose of publication
