ADM Nazrul Islam has completed his Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) & Master of Social Science (MSS) degree in Political Science from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh with a major focus on public administration & constitutional evolution of developed and developing countries.
After completion of university degree he studied on contemporary development school of thoughts focusing on non-governmental organizations (NGOs)   

Major Area of works:
• In depth focus on chemistry of local power structure, community resources and local government in Bangladesh.
• Community Health and Nutrition focused on Maternal & Child Health
• Food Security in perspective of enhancement of community assets development through rural poor.
• Project designing through assessment of social vulnerability and strengths.
In view of extend development knowledge and skills with grass-root NGO initiative ADM Nazrul Islam has been trying to establish a house of professionals in the name  of Analytical Bangladesh.  

Past performance of management position:
As part of commitment towards involvement with main streaming of rural development Mr. Nazrul Islam has worked with SAMARA as   Executive Director (ED).  
Leaded by women empowerment concept of development Mr. Islam has engaged himself with a reputed GO-NGO joint collaboration project supported by UN World Food Programme where he gained a rare experience in his career as District Coordinator.
As Project Manager of Grameen Education programme Mr. Islam also learnt lot from Professor Yunus the pioneer of Social Business theory and also the Nobel Laureate.
Joining with DHL country office in Dhaka as gateway in-charge was a combination of experience with multinational companies/the global leader of airfreight business.
As a regional manager of centre for development services (CDS) Mr. Islam has got a rare opportunity to learn and gather knowledge of field level implementation of rural settings with a huge number of project people & resources.
  
BRAC the world biggest development adventure had been paying a leading role in his mind-set of development arena where Mr. Islam worked with Rural Development Program-RDP, a platform of integrated development approach of rural development experience in Bangladesh.
